Ep. 48 – Anita Dunn

Let’s talk about dating after divorce, single motherhood, pandemic entrepreneurship and the power of community with Anita Dunn from the Mila + Paige boutique in New Westminster, BC.

(Recorded Sep. 16, 2020) It was so nice to catch up with Anita Dunn who owns one of my favourite boutiques, Mila + Paige in New Westminster, BC. In this episode of City Girl Talks we dig into the following topics:

  • Dating after divorce
  • Single motherhood and mompreneurship
  • Running a small business during the pandemic
  • Feeling like the poor kid
  • The power of community

Anita Dunn was born and raised in New Westminster. She spent some time living in Vancouver and Victoria and holds a CPA designation and a Bachelor’s of Commerce degree. After working for Crown corporation for 10 years, a layoff changed her life forever. Her severance pay allowed the time to think about what she really wanted out of life — which led to opening up Mila + Paige.
