Ep. 31: Suka Lang, R. Ac.

Let’s talk about cultural identity, wellness during COVID-19, forgiving ourselves and coming back to our roots with Suka Lang from Acupoint Wellness in Vancouver.

This week’s guest is my acupuncturist, the lovely Suka Lang. In this episode, Suka shares her experiences with cultural identity struggles, leaving home at 15, and the lessons she’s learned as she went from professional dancer to wellness entrepreneur. She also shares how her clinic will serve the community as businesses open up again in BC, and some tips for wellness at home during COVID-19.

Suka Lang is the owner and founder of Acupoint Wellness Centre in Vancouver, BC. She is a registered acupuncturist with over 10 years of experience. As a former gymnast and professional dancer, Suka is no stranger to stress, hard work, and pain management. After 15 years as a professional dancer, she decided to hang up her dance shoes and study traditional Chinese medicine. With a compassionate heart and the passion to heal, she truly cares about her patients and the well-being of those around her. Her kind and considerate bedside manner immediately puts people at ease.
