    After almost seven months in Victoria, the Brit and I have quickly adjusted to ‘Island life’. Our scenic new town has a much slower pace and it has been a welcome change. Like any new place, there’s been some quirks to get used to; namely, no rapid transit or tap cards (which I knew I’d miss), and NO IKEA (we struggled with this one #firstworldproblem).     Island Road Trip – 9 Things to Do in Victoria

    It’s been a busy few weeks, but I’ve finally had a chance to go through photos and do a road trip download from my notes. The Island is a perfect place for a road trip, and the Brit and I celebrated his birthday with four-and-a-half days of exploring.     Island Road Trip – Roost Farm Centre 

    ROOST FARM CENTRE (9100 East Saanich Rd., North Saanich, BC) A couple weekends ago, the Brit and I hopped on a ferry for a mini birthday (his) holiday on Vancouver Island. As with most of my travels anywhere in the world, there was a mechanical delay. (Surprise!)
